The smallest in our series of laboratory electromagnets but with the same built-in features and quality as our larger magnets.
HV-4H
is a horizontal field variable gap laboratory electromagnet with each pole being adjustable, offering an adjustable air gap from 0.065" to 4.00" and an intercoil spacing of 4.00". This magnet has found applications in areas of magnetic susceptibility, Hall effect studies and magnetic resonance work. It is particularly well suited to the classroom or laboratory for both educational and research purposes and is small enough to mount on either a portable platform or table and can be readily moved from one location to another without the complication of heavy handling equipment. The frame can be mounted either upright or at 45°. This unit has been designed to primarily operate from 1.25 kW power source but will also operate continuously from a 2.45 kW power source.
