Worcester, MA, April 2003 -- Walker Scientific, a division of Walker Magnetics Group was awarded a Power Supply contract from the Czech Republic Nuclear Physics Institute
to replace Soviet made equipment damaged in the 2002 flood that hit Prague last summer.
Stephen L. Dakel, Vice President of Walker Scientific, reported that the initial portion of this multi-million dollar award will commence this year with multiyear contracts for the next 24 months. Walker’s Power Supplies were selected to upgrade the main Cyclotron Lab in the Czech Republic that supports Nuclear Medicine and Research.
Mr. Dakel commented, “We are proud that Walker Scientific has been given this opportunity to contribute to the expanding European Market. This contract validates the reputation we have established with our products and builds on our long-standing relationships with high-tech research companies and Government organizations domestically and internationally.
