 These 7-inch electromagnets are among our most popular series because they are the largest size which can be table or bench mounted. Offering higher field levels and
improved homogeneity over our smaller series electromagnets, enables these units to cover a much broader application base for both educational and research purposes.
HV-7V is our vertical field variable gap electromagnet with one top movable pole offering an adjustable air gap from 0.065" to
4.25". This unit is used primarily for hysteresis studies where high-field performance is required. This system has been designed to operate primarily from a 5.0 kW power source but can operate continuously from 8.5 kW.
