The newest series to be added to our line of laboratory electromagnets in order to bridge the gap between the performance of
our 4" systems and our 7" systems. These small versatile high-performance electromagnets are supplied as either a fixed gap electromagnet, where variable gap versatility is not important, or as a variable
gap electromagnet where the versatility of the variable gap is required. However, the air gap for any of our fixed gap electromagnets can be varied by interchanging different thickness pole caps.
These units
may also be table or bench mounted and are suitable for either educational or research purposes.
HF-5H
is a horizontal field fixed gap electromagnet mounted at 45° and offering intercoil spacing of 5.25", with an air gap range to 3.0" with select pole caps.
